Umar brings extensive experience in audit examinations, investigations, tax administration and compliance. His professional background includes responsibility for auditing areas of taxation at the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

His experience also includes consulting to the House of Representatives Finance Committee and serving as a finance controller in the construction sector in Northern Nigeria.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in finance, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Sani has provided audit and tax services to a range of clients. His experience includes preparing audit reports, supporting compliance with accounting standards and providing business advisory services.

He has also been involved in local and international capacity development programmes, including tax policy and tax reform programmes. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Gbenga’s experience spans taxation and fiscal policy, corporate financial reporting, financial operations, project finance, business analysis, internal audit and consulting for public- and private-sector organisations.

His professional experience includes leading tax functions for Cadbury across West Africa and Kenya, managing the Integrated Tax Administration System project at FIRS, and supporting the Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme at the Federal Ministry of Finance.

He holds an MPhil in Taxation and Fiscal Policy from the University of Pretoria and an MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management. He is a Fellow of both ICAN and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Abdulrauf is a Certified Management Consultant with an academic background in economics, public administration, development studies and international affairs.

His work includes strategy development, organisational and digital transformation, and change management. He has consulted for Nigerian states and public-sector organisations on enhancing public value delivery.

He holds a master’s in public administration from Ahmadu Bello University, with further certifications from Harvard Kennedy School and the London School of Economics. His background also includes extensive capacity building and leadership development.

Michael is an international development researcher, evaluation professional and data analyst. His interests include governance, social policy, public health, agriculture and the evaluation of development interventions.

His experience includes work with the African Centre for Tax and Governance, EVALREACH Limited, and the International Centre for Tax and Development through the Nigerian Tax Research Network.

He holds a master’s degree in public health and certifications in research methods, data management and evaluation. His work at Astound Consult also includes operations leadership.
